2. Hosting
The website is hosted by an external hosting provider acting on our behalf. The provider’s name and address will be published here before the website is promoted.
3. Status of the project
Tauvik Sunnmøre Resort & Casino is a planned resort on an island off the Sunnmøre coast in western Norway. The exact location and the opening date are to be announced. The resort has not been built, it is not open and it accepts no reservations. All images are artist’s impressions, and all areas, capacities and other figures are planned figures that may change. Rates, opening hours and guest reviews do not exist yet, because nothing has been built.
4. Gaming and responsible gaming
The entertainment and gaming lounge is subject to licensing. Land-based casinos are not currently licensed in Norway. Casino games and gaming machines may only be offered by Norsk Tipping, which holds the exclusive right, and betting on horse racing is run by the Norsk Rikstoto foundation. The gaming area will open only if the law allows it and a permit is granted. If it opens, it will be for adults aged 18 and over only.

5. Statement on the domain name
The domain name ilmiomacrame.com was chosen for this project. It is not connected with teaching handicraft, selling materials or publishing knotting diagrams. This website is not a craft class or course, does not teach knotting and does not sell any products, materials or kits. The theme of knots and weaving refers only to the knot room planned inside the resort, where nets, rope and wall panels will be made for the resort itself.
6. Statement on the building
The long building at the heart of the resort is planned in the spirit of the old ropewalks, the long, narrow buildings in which rope was once made along the full length of the floor. It will be a new building. It is not a historic monument or a listed building, it is not the restoration of an existing ropewalk, and it does not represent or claim to represent any particular historic site.

Norsk Tipping, Norsk Rikstoto, Hjelpelinjen, Datatilsynet and the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights are mentioned for information. Aria Resort & Casino and Grand Portage Resort are mentioned once, as an editorial comparison only. We have no connection with any of these organisations or properties, and their names belong to their respective owners.

All images are artist’s impressions created for the Tauvik project. The typefaces Space Grotesk and Lora are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, and are served from this website’s own server.
